At the first visit I will ask you and your child a few questions to get some background information and a better understanding of the problem. I will then explain the Acupuncture treatment procedures. For this I use my little ‘Acupuncture man’ (a 30cm silicon model showing all the points) to demonstrate.

The treatment consists of inserting a few very thin and sterile needles at a few points, while your child sits on your knee. Older children can use the couch. The sensation is very mild and for some completely pain free.

Every Acupuncture session is individually tailored for your child, and his/her needs, in order to make them feel relaxed and at ease. Most children are fascinated by Acupuncture. I treat children from 3 years onwards, teenagers and young adults.
